On January 25, 2024, the third “the Belt and Road” Economic and Environmental Cooperation Forum was held in Beijing. The carbon monoxide catalyst project of Shandong Yuanlin Guici New Material has been selected into the 2023 “the Belt and Road” Ecological Environment Treatment Technology and Product Recommendation Catalog, as well as green practice project cases.
2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the proposal of the “the Belt and Road Initiative”. Over the past decade, China has integrated the concept of green development into all areas of the joint construction of the “the Belt and Road”, which has not only opened up new space and built a new platform for world economic growth, but also provided a Chinese plan for global ecological environment governance, and continued to benefit the people of all countries in the joint construction of the “the Belt and Road”.

Shandong Yuanlin Guici New Materials Co., Ltd. is a technology-based enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, and sales of molecular sieves, catalysts, ceramic materials, and new adsorption materials. Carbon monoxide catalytic oxidation technology – precious metal catalysts
Principle of catalytic oxidation:
The reaction equation for CO catalytic oxidation is as follows:
CO(g)+1/2O2(g)→CO2(g)
Its Δ rHm=-283.0kJ/mol, Δ rSm=-86.5J/(mol * K), thermodynamically speaking, this reaction is spontaneous within a foreseeable range, but due to the kinetic limitations of CO molecule reactions, it is difficult for the reaction to occur without a catalyst.
Technical features:
By adopting independent composite catalyst technology, the activity of the catalyst in the low-temperature range has been improved, making it more widely applicable and energy-saving.
Temperature conditions: The use temperature range is 200-350 ℃, which has higher activity and efficiency than ordinary precious metal catalysts, especially in the low temperature range.
Carbon monoxide (CO) catalyst is a newly developed product by our company. It is a low-temperature catalyst that uses ceramics and metals as carriers, adopts unique coating materials, and is refined with high content precious metals as active components. Can be used for catalytic oxidation of CO produced by incomplete combustion of various combustible gases. Under the conditions of temperature of 200-350 ℃ and airspeed of 5000-15000h-1, the carbon monoxide content of the purified gas can be reduced to below 5ppm; The oxygen absorption capacity of the catalyst can reach 50ml/g, and it can catalyze the reaction of CO and O2 into CO2. The CO catalyst has a long service life and can be used renewable.
